Everything You Need from the Spektrix Conference 2016

Our annual Spektrix Conference took place on the 7th November 2016 at the Lyric Hammersmith in London, and it was our biggest yet!

For those not in the know, the Spektrix Conference is our largest event of the year and brings together our friends from all across the arts community. Combining technology and the arts, we have leaders and experts from across the sector who inspire, challenge and encourage collaboration. It’s always a great chance to step back from the day-to-day workings of your organisation, join the conversation, connect with peers and tackle shared challenges.

If you couldn’t make it this year, or just want to have a recap on what was discussed during the sessions, we’re making everything available on here so check out all the presentations, videos and notes below.

Sales Breakout: “The Box Office Is Dead...Long Live the Sales Team!”

Speakers: Caroline Laurent (Sheffield Theatres), Edward Haversham (Princes Hall) and Stephen Skrypec (New Wolsey Theatre)

The Box Office as we know it is dead. Gone are the days of simply selling a ticket and directing someone to their seat and at Spektrix, we now refer to the Box Office team as the Sales team. From upselling, cross-selling, data collection and management to asking for donations and providing that important first step in your relationships with your audience, this team really sits at the core of every organisation. This session features some fantastic panellists who have reinvigorated the role of their Sales teams with spectacular results.
