Today, we’re introducing a new look and feel for Spektrix.
You’ll see it in our new website, our visual identity, and the way we talk about what we do. It’s a significant moment for us, and one that reflects how far Spektrix has come since we set out to build better technology for arts, culture, & in-person experience organizations.
But this isn’t a reinvention.
Our values haven’t changed. Our mission hasn’t changed. Nor has our belief in the power of arts, culture, and entertainment to bring people together, strengthen communities and make a meaningful difference in the world.
What has changed is how clearly and consistently we express those things.
Growing into our identity
Spektrix has evolved considerably over the years. Our community has grown across the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Our technology has become more powerful and more deeply connected. Our team has expanded, and so has the expertise, support, and community we offer alongside our software.
Yet our external presence didn’t always capture the full experience of working with Spektrix.
People who experienced Spektrix firsthand could see the difference: technology designed around the real needs of cultural organizations; a team genuinely invested in their success; and a way of working built on long-term partnership rather than short-term transactions.
From the outside, however, that difference wasn’t always obvious. Our website and visual identity didn’t consistently communicate the quality and innovation of our technology – or the care, curiosity, and ambition that shape how we work.
We knew we could tell that story better.
Becoming more recognizably ourselves
Refreshing an established brand is a substantial undertaking. It takes time, investment and input from people across the organization. It also brings risk: familiarity matters, and we didn’t want to lose what people already knew and valued about Spektrix.
So we didn’t begin by asking how we could become something new. We asked how we could more faithfully represent who we already are.
The result is brighter, bolder, and more confident. It gives us a more deliberate way to communicate the distinctive combination at the heart of Spektrix: powerful, intuitive technology; expert support; and a community connected by a shared commitment to the success of the cultural sector.
It also gives us a clearer way to put our users and their audiences at the center of our story. Spektrix exists to help cultural organizations create stronger relationships, reach more people and build lasting resilience. Our brand should make that purpose visible.
Authenticity at every level
Authenticity became one of the most important principles guiding this work.
Every photograph and film you’ll see in our new brand comes from Spektrix, the organizations we work with or the communities they serve. We chose not to use stock photography or AI-generated imagery and video or AI-generated copy.
That choice required considerably more work. It also felt essential.
The spaces are real. The teams are real. The audiences are real. They capture the energy, imagination, and human connection that make this sector extraordinary – and remind us why the technology behind those experiences matters.
I’m enormously grateful to the clients who welcomed us into their venues and shared their spaces, audiences, and stories. This new identity is richer and more meaningful because of their generosity.
More than a visual change
A brand is never just a logo, a color palette, or a website. It’s the experience people have every time they interact with an organization.
For Spektrix, that means every conversation with our support team, every product decision, every training session and community event, and every relationship we build with a user or partner.
The new identity doesn’t give us a new way of doing business. It gives us a clearer standard for expressing the way we already strive to work: sharing success, purposefully caring, and collectively improving.
It also challenges us to be even more deliberate. To communicate clearly. To listen closely. To keep improving our technology. And to ensure that every interaction lives up to the confidence and ambition of the new look.
I’m proud of what our team and partners have created, and excited to share it with you. This launch marks a new chapter in how Spektrix presents itself, but the purpose behind it remains exactly where it has always been: helping arts and cultural organizations thrive.
I hope you’ll take a look around.
